Security Programs Manager

Reports To: Security, Safety & Shuttle Services Manager
To develop, and maintain security and safety programs and policies for designated members of the Executive staff and Board of Directors.
Define, develop, implement and continually refine security and safety programs to provide reasonable protection of designated members of the Executive staff and Board of Directors, and their immediate families, from random or premeditated threats at all times (work, home, school, etc.).
Develop, implement and continually refine a domestic and international Executive travel program to include all aspects of travel and associated event security. Position may require regular travel.
Maintain extremely sensitive and confidential personal information about designated members of the Executive staff and Board of Directors, and their immediate families, including health history, private routines and functions, work and travel schedules.
Develop and continually refine philosophy and design standards, and operational manuals relating to protection systems (I.E.: burglar, fire, and duress alarms; video coverage, etc.), procedures (I.E.: international and domestic travel; kidnap and ransom, event security, Companys Corporate Security emergency response, etc.), and building design (I.E.: residential construction; landscape, etc.).
Provide physical audits of office(s) and residence(s), based on the developed standards, and provide recommendations based on findings; provide project management of improvements, and final approval upon project completion.
Market and promote Corporate Security, its services, programs, policies, and recommended practices, for designated members of the Executive staff and Board of Directors. Improve overall awareness of customer, and their immediate families, through education. Act as the point of contact on security related issues for all designated members of the Executive staff and Board of Directors, their families, and domestic help and maintain regular contact with those affected, by email and telephone, supplemented by periodic visits.
Review, develop and continually refine policies to insure Companys is meeting or exceeding the best practices in the areas of Executive protection, personal safety, and Corporate assumed liability.
Review, develop and continually refine security operations operational manuals and procedures regarding monitoring of executive systems and response to incidents, and provide direction to the Security Operations Manager regarding resource support of the established executive protection programs, including the management of staff assigned to monitor executive residences.
Manage quality control and productivity of service providers. Review service provider practices and methodologies to insure that Companys's objectives are being met, including method of delivery, quality of service, pricing, reporting, and customer (Executive) satisfaction.
Act as a primary contact for all Executive security emergency issues and act in a primary role in the Emergency Operations Center during disasters. Position requires on-call availability 24 x 7.
Develop and manage fiscal budgets for Corporate Security Executive operations totaling up to $500K annually.
Provide consulting to International executives as needed.
Analyze and resolve non-routine problems. Advise executive staff of proposed changes to policy/procedures as well as extenuating circumstances regarding security related issues.
Complete required monthly operations report. Act as liaison between Executives, management, and service providers on security-related issues.
This position has regular contact with all levels of Companys Executives, Board of Directors, managers, and frequent contact with local, domestic, and international government agencies and outside service providers.
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in Criminal Justice or a related field. Also a minimum of 5 years management experience in an Executive security related capacity in a corporate/private setting. This position requires the ability to maintain extreme confidentiality. Must have the ability to work independently to achieve results. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidate must be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints. PC skills strongly preferred.
